Burn Camp
A week-long summer camp where kids are free to be themselves and connect with other kids and camp counsellors in a safe and inclusive environment.
Empowering Survivors
Summer camp for kids
Burn Camp has been teaching young burn survivors that “attitude is everything” since it was founded in 1994. Every summer, Burn Camp welcomes around 70 children and 60 fire fighter and nurse volunteers for a week of connection, empowerment and fun.
Highlights of Burn Camp include early morning polar bear dips in the lake, swimming, hiking, the annual talent show, a famous water fight, and a dance on the last night of camp. Survivors aged eight to eighteen experience personal growth at this inclusive week-long camp where kids are free to be themselves.
