There are four easy ways to make a donation: You can make a one-time or monthly donation quickly and securely online. Call us at (604) 436-5617. Mail a cheque payable to: ‘BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund’, 3891 Main Street, Vancouver BC V5V 3P1, or in-person at the Burn Fund Centre. Address above.
When making a gift, it is extremely important to use the correct name: BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund and charitable number: 89147 5345 RR0001
Tribute gifts can be made directly from our website on our Donate page. Select Tribute Gift and include the details. Use the comment box to add a personalized message and we will include it in the tribute letter. You can also call the Burn Fund office at (604) 436-5617 and ask to make a tribute gift. If requested, tribute recipients receive a Burn Fund tribute letter with the information you provided. Donation amounts are never shared.

Donors who contribute $10.00 CAD or more will receive an official receipt for tax purposes from the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund. Cash donations made in-person at any of our events i.e. Bright Nights are not tax deductible.
For donations made online, the donor will receive an immediate electronic receipt by email. For donations made by cheque or by phone, you will receive a tax receipt in the mail at the address you provide us. If you are a monthly donor, your selected monthly donation amount will be charged to your credit card on the 1st of each month. An annual receipt totaling your monthly gifts will be emailed to you in February.

To update your contact details and/or to change the frequency of our communications, please email us at info@burnfund.org. If you are updating your contact information, please provide your old information and new information to ensure we update the correct records.
No. The BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund does not do any phone or door-to-door fundraising. If you receive calls asking for donations for a ‘Burn Fund’, we can categorically say it is not us. Please enquire directly with them as to which charity or foundation they are canvassing for.
