Home Away

Offering burn and trauma survivors, fire fighters, and their loved ones accommodations in Vancouver.

Burn Fund Centre

Located in the heart of Vancouver

Burn and trauma survivors, fire fighters and their families stay at the Burn Fund Centre when they must travel to Vancouver for medical treatment.

With eight short-term suites, a communal kitchen, a living area and a patio, this beautiful space in the heart of Main Street allows guests to focus on recovery and connecting with others rather than the logistics of their stay.

If you are a burn or trauma survivor, fire fighter or family member who requires accommodations and you meet the eligibility criteria, contact us.

Eligibility

  • Immediate family members and/or primary caregivers of survivors.
  • A professional fire fighter (current or retired BCPFFA member) or their immediate family member (for any medical purposes).
  • Must live a minimum of 100 km from the Burn Fund Centre.
