Supporting Families
Healing together with heart
Little Lionhearts is a burn recovery program that supports families in their healing journey together. The retreat helps child burn survivors from infants to age six, along with their parents, siblings, and caregivers, to understand and cope with physical and emotional challenges related to burn recovery.
Little Lionhearts is a three-day program that focuses on all members of the family incorporating therapy and socialization, with therapeutic and recreational activities. Parents and caregivers are provided with the support and education necessary to nurture a child with a burn injury.
