Kristin Bibbs is the new Development Manager with the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund. She joins the Burn Fund from REACH Child & Youth Development Society in Delta, where she spent more than five years furthering fund development, planning fundraising events and supporting the organization’s programs.

Kristin is a graduate from Simon Fraser University with a psychology degree focused in counselling and human development. She continued her studies in a Post-Baccalaureate Program at SFU before beginning her career in fundraising and development in the charitable sector. Kristin’s background in counselling psychology has helped her develop an understanding of people’s desire to contribute in meaningful and lasting ways. She is passionate about identifying the reason behind each unique form of support to ensure the gift – whether monetary, of one’s time, or service – is as fulfilling for the individual as it is for the organization.

Kristin brings a strong philanthropic knowledge base to the Burn Fund, where she is responsible for fundraising, donor and volunteer stewardship, and cultivation. Kristin thrives on building relationships and expanding networks of care using compassion, communication and collaboration.
