Bright Nights is the single largest annual fundraiser for the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund. Since 1997, thousands of professional fire fighters from across the province have volunteered their time and energy to bring this holiday tradition to life.

This year, Bright Nights is coming back to Surrey as part of Noël Surrey running from November 27 to December 29, 2026 at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds.

A holiday tradition

Bright Nights has been a holiday favourite of children and families for decades. We are very happy to be able to continue this tradition in Surrey, where it began. Together with Noël Surrey, the Burn Fund is continuing a legacy started by Bob Wingfield and Marg Barrett back in the mid 80s, when their home light display first raised funds for burn survivors. Bright Nights at Noël Surrey

The magic of Bright Nights will be brighter than ever at Noël Surrey thanks to a wide array of other amenities and activities that you and your family can take advantage of once you are inside.

  • Millions of lights and accessible path around the Bright Nights Light Walk.
  • Fan favourites displays like the fire truck, giant red reindeer, and tunnel of lights.
  • Fire fighters and special guests greeting families with candy canes and holiday cheer.
  • The Noël Village, a heated, 30,000 sq-ft indoor venue featuring activities for kids, the Winter Spice Kitchen, Candy Cane Slide, and live entertainment.
  • Santa’s Snow Barn, an additional indoor, heated space showcasing an expanded Christmas Market and photos with Santa.
  • Food from local food trucks and fully licensed bars serving holiday favourite drinks.
  • Unlimited rides on the 50-foot Ferris wheel.
  • Sensory-friendly nights featuring reduced noise and a calmer environment.

Supporting Burn Survivors across BC and the Yukon

In keeping with tradition, the Burn Fund will welcome donations at the Bright Nights entrance, and throughout the display with all donations directly supporting vital programs for burn survivors, including Burn Camp, Little Lionhearts Family Camp, Thrive Retreat, and Home Away at the Burn Fund Centre.

  • Children 6 and under get in for free.
  • Youth/senior tickets start at $18.
  • Adult tickets start at $24.
  • Tickets include all attractions, entertainment, and parking.
  • Every ticket purchased supports burn survivors across BC and the Yukon.
  • Noël Surrey also works with local school districts to provide tickets to low-income families.

Bright Nights 50/50 tickets go on sale November 2026

Bright Nights 50/50 tickets will go on sale in November. One lucky winner will take home half of the jackpot and the other half will help fund programs and events for burn survivors across BC and the Yukon, including Burn Camp and our Home Away Accommodations. Bright Nights 50/50 tickets can be purchased online. Must be 19 or over. Know your limit, play within it. BC Residents only.
