A cherished holiday tradition, Bright Nights is the single largest fundraiser for the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund, which provides life-saving, life-supporting, and life-enriching services to burn survivors and their families from across the province. Around 800 fire fighters from all across British Columbia donate 6,400 hours of their time to help set-up and take-down almost 3,000,000 Christmas lights and displays at Bright Nights. Each night, a different Local also volunteers their time to help manage the event.
Admission to Bright Nights is by donation. In addition to a wide array of light displays, Bright Nights will include fan favourites like the iconic fire truck, giant red reindeer and the tunnel of lights in the plaza. There will be fire fighters welcoming guests, plenty of candy canes, and the barn will be transformed into Santa’s workshop for holiday photos.
We wanted to take a moment to remind everyone that Bright Nights is a special event for the entire community, and we’re dedicated to ensuring that it remains accessible to all. While the Train tickets are sold out, please know that the Christmas lights display and the activities in the plaza will still be open to the public. The spirit of the season is about coming together, sharing moments of joy, and creating lasting memories. We encourage you to join us in celebrating this festive time, regardless of the Train availability.
Bright Nights is a free event with admission by donation, and every contribution helps support the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund survivor programs and services.
