The Big White Fire Department is organizing their 6th Annually Rooftop Campout held at the Big White Ski Resort March 3rd to 5th. This is an event that brings the whole community together and seems to be a bigger success each year. This year their goal is to raise $10,000 with 100% of the proceeds going towards the Burn Fund’s THRIVE Program, an empowerment program for Youth Burn Survivors.
To sum up the event, Firefighters camp out on the roof of the Kids Center in the heart of the village on Friday March 3rd to Sunday March 5th. The event starts Friday morning and closes down around Sunday afternoon. The event and Main Tent will be in the heart of the village, where there will be music playing, fun games and obstacle courses for the kids to play, tours of the fire trucks, a photo booth, BWFD Campout T-shirts for sale, hot chocolate being handed out, raffle tickets being sold, and an overall fun event to get the whole community involved!
