Jeff Sauvé, Executive Director

Jeff Sauvé is the new Executive Director of the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund. With over two decades in sport, Jeff has served as the leader of various non-profit organizations, including with national and provincial organizations. Some of Jeff’s career highlights include: serving as a consultant with the Toronto Maple Leafs, his role in bringing international rugby events to Canada, and serving on various national committees for the Canadian Olympic Committee.

Jeff is a graduate of Queen’s University where he competed for the Golden Gaels in ice hockey and lacrosse. Jeff holds a Masters degree in sport management and is nearing completion of a PhD he has been working on in his spare time over the last six years.

Jeff is a highly regarded, progressive, and strategic leader with a track record of collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, strengthening communities, raising funds, and supporting deserving programs and individuals.

This May, burn survivors, first responders, and medical professionals will come together for the Blue Skies 2020 Canadian Burn Survivors Conference, hosted by the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund.

This is the first time that the Canadian Burn Survivors Conference will be hosted in British Columbia and we look forward to welcoming guests from across Canada and the US. Mental health is the focus of the conference, with the goal of improving the wellbeing journeys of both burn survivors and those who contribute to their critical care.

Thank you for supporting the 22nd Annual Bright Nights in Stanley Park!

We are especially grateful for our many volunteers who make this winter wonderland a reality every year. Bright Nights is a Vancouver holiday tradition which welcomed thousands of people from across the Lower Mainland. A major fundraiser for the Burn Fund, this year’s total will be announced shortly.

Race towards the festive season by participating in the inaugural Santa Run through scenic Stanley Park. Outfitted in Santa suits, participants will spread cheer along the Seawall as they partake in a 5K run.

All entrants will receive a complimentary Santa suit for the race, along with a race-day ride on the Stanley Park Christmas Train, the site of the Little Santa 1K run/walk for kids.

Prizes will be awarded for the top fundraising individual and team. Prizes will also be awarded to the top three male and female individual 5K finishers.
