Sun Rivers Golf Resort raises $4,000 at 1st Annual Ladies' Charity
Diamond Dinner

It was a magical evening - diamonds, delectable food and wine, auctions, a comedic performance and best of all a $4,000 donation to the BC Burn Fund. The event was the First Annual Ladies' Charity Diamond Dinner held on Thursday, November 8th at Hoodoos Bar & Grill at Sun Rivers Golf Resort.

The primary focus of the event was to raise money for the Burn Fund while enjoying a dressy evening out with friends. The evening was kicked off by the members of the Kamloops Fire Department escorting ladies to their tables followed by dinner service including a three course meal prepared by head chef, Willie Petz. The evening continued with a comedic performance by Patti D., reverse draws for diamond jewelry valued at $2,500, a silent auction and great door prizes. Master of Ceremonies, Jeremy Heighton, and DJ Alan Bruce carried the eveing along with laughter, music and dancing.

Congratulations to Betty Oliver, winner of the diamond pendant necklace and to Ruth Ruscall, winner of the diamond watch. Plans are already underway for next years event.
