Welcome to Carnevale 2008

On May 30, 2008, at 6pm Dominelli International will once again proudly host CARNEVALE 2008, the 14th Annual Body Art Exposition and Competition at the Italian Cultural Centre in Vancouver (3075 Slocan Street).

This event will feature artists who will demonstrate their talents using models as human canvases and will create elaborate, colourful and intricate designs on the human body. This will be the 14th Annual highly successful Body Artistry Exposition and Competition of its kind and is a showcase of creative expression of art and form.

Dominelli International College of Esthetics has established a 28-year track record of educating and training students from all over the world in the field of professional beauty therapy and clinical esthetics.

Dominelli is pleased to donate the net proceeds of this event to The British Columbia Professional Fire Fighters' BURN FUND. This is the Arts Community coming together to support worthy causes.

At the Cocktail Reception guests will observe the artistry in motion. Leading up to the competition, live entertainment will start the evening's event followed by a delectable dinner and awards.

CALLING ALL Make-Up Artists, Canvas Painters, Illustrators, Cartoonists, Tattoo Artists, Graphic Designers and anyone with an artistic flair! Artists from all over are invited to showcase their talent by painting on human models using different techniques and skills in body artistry. You are invited to attend or compete at CARNEVALE 2008. This Competition is an opportunity for the arts community, for you and your friends to 'show off' your talent and to help raise funds for a life saving cause.

PRIZES - 1st Prize $2000 | 1st Runner Up $1000 | 2nd Runner Up $500
All Artists receive a Certificate of Achievement and Participation.
